Role Overview
As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I, you will perform essential diagnostic testing and quality control procedures to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely results. This role involves preparing reagents, reviewing and validating test data, maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, and overseeing moderate to high complexity testing.
You'll play a key role in supporting high-quality patient care by maintaining precision in laboratory testing and collaborating with team members to ensure compliance with all laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all diagnostic testing and quality control in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Prepare reagents and report accurate, reliable, and timely test results.
  • Conduct moderate to high complexity testing with precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain laboratory computer applications.
  • Manage inventory and ensure adequate supply levels.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure workflow efficiency and quality outcomes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
đź§Ş Certification & Licensure
  • Required: State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License

🎓 Education
  • Required: Associate's Degree in Medical Technology or Related Field
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field

📊 Experience
  • Minimum of 4 months of clinical laboratory experience required
