Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced cardiovascular medicine researcher with a focus on the molecular and cellular mechanisms of pathological cardiac remodeling. Successful applicant will be expected to establish a research program (either independent- or team science-based) and design and develop experiments; including scientific writing, and publishing and presenting results. Successful applicant will have the opportunity for academic advancement within a mentored research program. Opportunity for teaching students, lab personnel and fellows in a laboratory setting.
Required Qualifications*
Applicants should hold a PhD in biochemistry and/or an MD, and have postdoctoral research experience in the area of cardiovascular medicine, with specific training in understanding how lipid metabolism and the tumor microenvironment contribute to colorectal cancer development and treatment strategies. Evidence of scholarly ability (e.g., record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, acquisition of external funding, and presentation experience) is expected.
