About the Job
 

This position will be supporting faculty and administrative staff in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology. The successful candidate will have a high degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.  The work requires excellent organization, prioritization and follow-through skills. 
This position is located at the University of Minnesota on the East Bank.

Responsibilities:
(80%) Update and maintain database
(10%) Perform filing/record keeping, photocopying, faxing, and shredding
(5%) Monitor inventory of office supplies
(5%) Other duties as assigned including, but not limited to, seasonal projects, one-time special projects, assisting office with administrative tasks
 

Qualifications
 

All required qualifications must be documented on application materials

Required Qualifications:
Highschool diploma or equivalent 
Availability to work 10-15 hours per week during scheduled office hours
Available to work weekdays and will be available over the summer break
Previous experience in an office setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive documentation
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Ability to travel to various locations across campus for pickup and delivery
Preferred:
Strong communication and computer skills
Attention to detail
Interest in Medicine/Lab or Finance/Accounting a plus

Pay and Benefits
 

Pay Range:$15.25 per hour depending on education/qualifications/experience.
