Job description

Dadoo Care Transport is currently looking to hire a certified Medical Transportation Driver. Our drivers are compassionate, caring, reliable and responsible individuals charged with getting clients with mobility challenges to their destinations safely and on time. Non-Emergency transportation company looking for qualified drivers and assistants to provide quality transportation for our clients to medical appointments, care facilities, and other destinations as needed. The company services a wheelchair, stretcher, and basic life-support ambulance transportation.
We serve Richmond VA and the surrounding counties.

Opportunities available for:
  • Wheelchair Van Driver.
  • Stretcher Van Driver.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Transport Clients to and from medical appointments/facilities.
  • Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle, and to care facility.
  • Engage with passengers in a friendly and caring manner.
  • Be able to utilize a smartphone to interact with the communication center and customers.
  • Practice safe driving techniques.
  • Perform daily visual inspection and cleaning of the vehicle.

Driver Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License (No suspensions or revocations in the past 5 years.
  • Good Driver Record. 
  • Able to pass drug screening.

Preferred:
  • NEMT Certification.
  • Commercial driving experience.
  • Ability to lift 100+lbs.
  • Willing to work flexible schedules.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • History of punctuality in the workplace.
  • We will help the driver to get training to be certified for this job. 
  • Teamwork skill is a plus. We also provide benefits and monthly bounces. 
  • Salary will be based on experience.
