JOB DESCRIPTION

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Welds production and less difficult prototype instrumentation piece parts in various materials including stainless steel, precious and semi-precious metals using various types of welding processes which may include TIG and/or MIG.
  • May operate program welding machine to weld production units and also assist machine welding operator in program welding higher volume production units when work load requires it.
  • Welds must pass destructive and non-destructive testing based on certification requirements per individual product.
  • Must maintain individual welding qualification and certification per product requirements.
  • Sets up fixtures and lays out work for production and prototype piece parts.
  • Performs work of a miscellaneous nature as required.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Three (3) years of welding experience and a High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED), OR
  • One (1) year of welding experience and verified completion of a Welding certificate program
  • Must obtain and maintain applicable company welding certifications.

  • Solid work history showing record of dependability
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Positions are contingent upon the passing a pre-employment screening
  • Physical requirements
    • Must be able to stand for 80% of the shift
    • Be able to frequently move equipment and products weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Communicate in English without an interpreter
