Job description

Non-Destructive Technician

Reports to: President and General Manager of A-Lab Corp.

Exemption Status: Non-Exempt

A-Lab Corp. is seeking a qualified Level II Technician for our Non-Destructive Testing Lab to conduct metals testing. Must have a combination of some of the following qualifications (not necessarily all 3). Applicants with frequent job movement will not be considered. Will train the right applicant.

Job Duties:

  • Perform Magnetic Particle Testing
  • Perform Liquid Penetrant Testing
  • Perform Radiographic Testing

Experience:

  • NAS 410
  • Magnetic Particle Testing
  • Liquid Penetrant Testing
  • Radiographic Testing (film at a minimum, preferably with some CR background also but not necessary)
  • Level II

Qualifications:

  • Must have high school diploma
  • Must be have a valid driver's license and be insurable
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Must be able to work Overtime as needed
  • Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in both verbal and written form
  • Prepare reports as necessary
  • Follow standards through ISO and NADCAP
