Boeing Commercial Airplanes(BCA) is looking for a Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Quality Test Specialist who has NAS 410 or equivalent level II certifications in Ultrasound method to join our Composite Fabrication team in West Jordan, Utah.

 A successful candidate in this role will develop, conduct and/or improve and correct non-destructive inspection or test techniques, methods and processes. They will also analyze data and documents and communicate their recommendations to their respective manager.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate , Experienced and Senior NDT Quality Test Specialists.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment

  • Develops procedures and processes

  • Performs tests or inspections and collects data

  • Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations

  • Provides communication on adverse trends

  • Maintains responsibility of non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products

  • Conducts certification preparation training

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • NAS 410 or equivalent level II or higher certifications in Ultrasound method

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 3 - 3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)

  • Level 4 - 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)

  • 1+ years working with Automated NDT inspection equipment

  • 1+ years of experience in Eddy Current (ET) and Dye Penetrant (PT)

  • 1+ years with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • 1+ years of experience with data analysis and/or data mining

  • Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced role with strict deadlines

  • Experience working both independently and in team environments

Summary Pay Range (Level 2): $57,800 - $78,200

Summary Pay Range (Level 3): $68,000 - $92,000

Summary Pay Range (Level 4): $79,900 - $108,100
