From our hatcheries to our "ready to eat" state of the art cooking facilities we service customers in the retail, food service and industrial sectors. Role:

The Class 1 driver exhibits a commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of regulatory compliances. The ideal candidate will demonstrate timeliness in all tasks, ensuring that deadlines are met with efficiency and accuracy. Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential, as the role requires clear and effective interaction with team members and stakeholders at all levels. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, are key to success in this position.
Responsibilities:
  • Local trips to poultry farms located between Surrey and Agassiz
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment
  • Safety must come first daily
  • On-time delivery
  • Excellent attendance
  • Delivering live poultry from local farms to processing plants
Requirements:
  • Class 1 Driver's License
  • Minimum 2 years experience driving tractor trailer unit
  • Must have experience at backing and maneuvering a tractor trailer unit in tight areas
  • Manual transmission experience / NO automatic transmission restriction
Working Conditions:
  • NIGHT SHIFT: Sunday to Thursday
  • Paid by the load, average is 12 - 14 loads per week(2 or 3 loads per night)
  • You are not required to load or unload your trailer
  • NO Out of Province & NO Border Crossing Trips
  • Company owned well maintained truck
  • Home Daily / Weekends off
$80,000 - $80,000 a year
Extended Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance package when qualified.
