Job Title: IT Technology Services Senior Specialist

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Purpose and Objective: 

SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Senior Specialist at our Alpharetta, GA location to design and develop systems, applications, products, services and data to optimize / automate SAPs business processes and improve work efficiency.

Expectations and Tasks:

Engage with business stakeholders and other technology teams to deliver solutions to business requirements. Perform complex data and system development along with technology integration through learned technology coding languages. Facilitate the system, service, and product lifecycle, and ensure stable, secure, performant and high available operations for and between system and cloud services. Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation. Manage cloud technologies, the associated architectural styles (e.g. microservices, containerization, serverless architectures) and web development stacks. Apply agile software delivery process and the industry-standard toolset for DevOps implementation. Apply modern data processing technologies and methods, such as non-SQL databases or data lakes. Apply modern SaaS platform, integration, and extensibility concepts. 

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:

  • Administering SAP S/4HANA and SAP NetWeaver;
  • Designing and implementing SAP Applications and Databases;
  • Finding and fixing problems with load balancers;
  • Analyzing S/4HANA data footprint, including server downsizing and upsizing;
  • Integrating between SAP SuccessFactors & Azure Active Directory;
  • SAP Cloud Platform Identity Authentication; and
  • SAP Cloud Platform Identity Provisioning Service.

License/Certification Required:

  • SAP Certified Associate Cloud Platform Integration;
  • SAP Certified Specialist S/4 HANA Upgrade and Conversion;
  • AWS Certified: SAP on AWS Specialty; and
  • SAP Certified Technology Associate: HANA 2.0

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $152,131 - $220,500. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $172,900 - $294,000. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
