We are seeking a responsible, flexible, and compassionate Substitute Teacher to oversee classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher. The ideal candidate will be able to manage classrooms effectively, follow lesson plans, and ensure a positive learning environment for all students.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Deliver lesson plans provided by the absent teacher or develop plans when necessary.
  • Maintain classroom order and manage student behavior using appropriate strategies.
  • Provide instruction that meets the learning needs of students.
  • Monitor student progress and ensure student safety at all times.
  • Follow school procedures, policies, and daily schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with school staff, students, and parents (as necessary).
  • Leave notes or reports for the regular teacher regarding the day's activities and any student issues.
  • Uphold professional and ethical standards in all interactions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred).
  • Previous experience in classical education is preferred, but not required.
  • Commitment to model moral character in line with the school's core virtues and the pursuit of the Good, True, and Beautiful.
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
