Wellington Place at Rib Mountain is seeking to hire full-time and part-time NOC Resident Assistants. What does a Resident Assistant do at Wellington Place at Rib Mountain?
The Resident Assistant (RA) performs a variety of assistive care duties, under the direct supervision of the Wellington Place at Rib Mountain Administrator or Shift Leader to ensure the resident's Individual Service Plan (ISP) is being followed. A ( RA ) encourages residents to maintain their independence, assist and guides residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as necessary, provides a home-like environment that encourages the optimum level of physical, emotional, psychological, social and spiritual activity. The (RA) works independently, using sound judgment in the provision of personal and medical care, activities, and housekeeping/laundry services as scheduled.

3rd 10pm-6am

Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Speaks and understands the English language, with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds consistently, occasionally lift over 50 pounds and to spend long periods of time on his/her feet.
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must have a teamwork attitude.
Qualifications Preferred:
  • CBRF Certifications or Active CNA License
  • Experience in CBRF setting.
  • Experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
Physical Demands of the Position:
  • Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for majority of the shift
