QOS Fiber is a Veteran-Friendly EmployerLocation: Wisconsin (In-State & Regional Projects) Employment Type: Full-TimeJob DescriptionQOS Fiber builds the fiber optic infrastructure that powers internet, communication, and modern connectivity. This position is ideal for individuals who want to work outdoors, learn a skilled trade, and be part of a high-performing construction crew.This is a hands-on, outdoor role where employees work on active job sites performing fiber installation, cable placement, and construction support. Every day offers different locations, tasks, and challenges while contributing to real infrastructure projects.Work EnvironmentThis position is 100 percent outdoor work in changing environments and weather conditions. Employees work with a team using modern equipment and tools to complete fiber optic construction projects. The schedule is primarily weekdays with home time on weekends.ResponsibilitiesSupport fiber optic cable installation, placement, and outside plant construction activities. Perform physical labor and assist with cable pulling, blowing, placement, and basic troubleshooting. Learn fiber optic construction methods and assist with job site tasks as directed. Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials. Track material usage and communicate updates to supervisors. Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards. Participate in training and develop skills in fiber optic installation and telecommunications.Training and Career GrowthNo experience is required.
