Summerfields Animal Hospital in the North Fort Worth - Keller, Texas area is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Veterinary Assistants to join our well-established, AAHA-accredited, 4 doctor practice.
We are looking for friendly, driven, inspiring, patient, balanced, and passionate professionals that are comfortable with, and serve, both people and animals.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma and 6 months in related or similar work experience required. 
  • Also required is the ability to work as a productive team member with excellent communication skills as well as computer and phone skill sets. 

Required skills include:
  • Knowledge of basic veterinary practice, medical terminology, and procedures, 
  • The previous veterinary hospital experience. 

Veterinary assistants are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials program.
