Job description

Have you always dreamed of becoming a dance pro like you’ve seen on Dancing with the Stars? Or maybe you just want a job that’s more fun and active than being a waiter or a cashier? Now is your chance!

Join our team at Arthur Murray of Danbury, no dance experience required!

We have been serving the greater Danbury community for more than 40 years with personal dance lessons, group classes, in-studio social dance parties, and memorable competitions, showcases and social dance events.

We are seeking an outgoing and motivated individual with demonstrated customer service experience to join our team. Again, no dance experience required.

You’ll get:

* paid dance and sales training

* sales and competition bonuses

* paid vacation and sick time

* to learn all of today’s most popular social dances

Responsibilities:

* Teach 15 to 25 individual lessons a week

* Teach 2-3 group classes a week

* Motivate students to continue their dance training

* Compete with students and other pros at local, regional, and national showcases and events

* Serve as an Arthur Murray ambassador to the greater Danbury community

* Available to teach evening lessons and attend periodic weekend competitions

Qualifications:

* outgoing with a can-do attitude

* excited to learn to dance

* excited to share the joy of dance with others

* experience providing the highest level of customer service

* social dance or fitness instruction experience are a plus but not required
