Job description

Description:

The Youth Sports Coach is responsible for delivering structured sports programming to groups of young children following B.E.S.T. curriculum guidelines. This role requires energy, enthusiasm, professionalism, and a commitment to providing an excellent experience for participants and their families.

Work Environment:

  • Classes may be held indoors or outdoors based on location and season.
  • Physical activity required, including standing, running, and participating in sports drills.
  • Travel between multiple class locations may be required based on scheduling.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to physically participate in sports activities.
  • Ability to lift and transport equipment (up to 40 pounds).
  • Ability to stand, move, and be physically active for extended periods.

Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and instruct sports classes, camps, and/or clinics for children ages 18 months to 12 years.
  • Implement and follow B.E.S.T. lesson plans and coaching techniques.
  • Maintain a fun, positive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Ensure the safety and supervision of all participants at all times.
  • Set up, organize, and break down equipment as needed before and after classes.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, teammates, and supervisors.
  • Complete required class check-ins, reporting, and attendance tracking.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Represent B.E.S.T. values and uphold a high standard of customer service.
