PCE Construction Social Media Student Intern
Department: Business
Location: Columbia, MO
Type: Part-time Student
Pay: $16/hour for 10 hours per week

Job Summary:
PCE is seeking a current Columbia College student to serve as our social media & Brand Storytelling Intern. You'll work directly with our Director of Business Development to help showcase our people, projects, and culture through strategic digital content. This is a hands-on internship where you'll gain real experience inside a growing business.
PCE Construction is one of the fastest-growing construction companies in Mid-Missouri. We build more than projects-we build relationships, trust, and reputation. Our work spans commercial, hospitality, education, healthcare, and community-focused projects across Missouri.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current Columbia College student in good standings. Has excellent organizational and communication skills. Self-motivated and dependable. Comfortable working independently and with a team. Prior experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools. Photography or video editing experience, social media management, Interest in business, marketing or entrepreneurship preferred but not required. Applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis.
Essential Function:
  • Help plan and manage monthly social media content calendars.
  • Create posts, captions, graphics, reels and stories for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and more.
  • Capture project progress, jobsite culture, team highlights and company events.
  • Attend select networking events, meetings, volunteer projects and celebrations.
  • Monitor engagement and help identify successful content strategies.
  • Organize photo/video content libraries, assist with marketing materials and special projects.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and bring fresh ideas.
