divh2Security Guard/h2pCapital City Club is an exclusive, private club with three locations in the Atlanta area. We currently have an opening at our Country Club located in Brookhaven for a full-time Security Guard. We offer an excellent work environment, health, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits along with a company match for our 401(k).

We are looking for a self-reliant individual who is consistent, friendly, informative, and confident./ph3Primary Responsibilities/h3pThis position maintains all areas of the Club peaceful and safe for Club members, guests, and Club employees. This individual enhances the member experience and provides a warm welcome to everyone. Typical Schedule: 4:30am-1:30pm with Availability Monday through Friday./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliGreet members and guests at the front gate in a polite friendly manner, using their names if possible./liliProvide information to members and guests on the daily functions and locations within the Club./liliPatrol parking lots, and prevent unauthorized vehicles and people from accessing the property./liliPatrol all areas of the Club including employee areas, golf course, and lake./liliResponsible for overall safety on Club property.

This includes making sure that members, guests, and employees follow Club rules regarding driving speeds, reckless behavior, and correct parking procedures./liliAssist Club management in enforcing employee rules, preventing employee theft, and in the investigation and documentation of all security-related incidents./liliAssist in emergency procedures. This includes directing emergency vehicles to the scene and directing members, guests, and employees to the proper emergency areas./liliRespond promptly to emergency calls providing a timely response and corrective action to any problem affecting the Clubs operation, especially member services./liliMaintain a clean and properly fueled security cart./liliWrite daily security reports, incident and investigate reports and provide frequent daily contact with Chief Engineer to ensure communication of priorities and problems in a timely manner./liliSafeguard and maintain through proper use the tools and equipment provided by the Club/liliMaintain current certifications in CPR/AED./liliAdditional duties as assigned/li/ulh3Qualifications and Skills/h3ulliAbility to communicate effectively and clearly/liliAttendance and punctuality/liliMaintaining professional composure at all times/liliFriendly, outgoing, helpful, and informative/liliBe at least 18 years of age/liliBe in the good physical condition and be able to handle the demands of the job/liliDrivers license in good standing/li/ulpReports To: Security Supervisor/ppAll job applicants at this company who have been offered employment will need to undergo testing for the presence of illegal drugs as a condition for employment./p/div
