Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Test Drives: Perform thorough on-road test drives of commercial vehicles to evaluate quality of service repairs.
  • Diagnostic Reporting: Identify and document mechanical issues or unusual noises, and communicate findings to the diesel technician team.
  • Fleet Shuttling: Move trucks to suitable location within the service yard.
  • Delivery: Assist with the delivery of new trucks to customers.
Qualifications amp; Requirements
  • License: Active and valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • Experience: Minimum of [1 to 2] years of CDL driving experience. Previous experience in vehicle diagnostics, quality control, or automotive/diesel mechanics is a plus.
  • Medical Card: Valid and current DOT Medical Examiner’s certificate.
  • Background: Clean driving record (MVR) and the ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment DOT drug screening and background check.
  • Skills: Ability to operate both manual and automatic commercial transmissions is preferred. Strong communication skills for relaying mechanical feedback.
