To thrive as a No Experience RV Transport Driver, you need a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and basic knowledge of highway safety and vehicle handling. Many employers provide on-the-job training, but familiarity with GPS navigation devices and, in some cases, a commercial driver’s license (CDL) or DOT medical card may be advantageous. What is a no experience RV transport driver?

A No Experience RV Transport Driver job involves delivering recreational vehicles (RVs) from manufacturers or dealerships to customers, showrooms, or other locations. Companies offering these positions do not require prior experience but typically expect drivers to have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and in some cases, their own towing vehicle. Many employers provide basic training on how to safely transport RVs. This is an independent contractor role, meaning drivers are responsible for fuel, maintenance, and other travel expenses. It can be a good opportunity for those looking to enter the transportation industry with minimal experience.

Employers typically support new drivers with training and guidance, making this an excellent entry-level opportunity for those interested in the industry.

If you prefer minimal accountability, inconsistent schedules, or "just driving," this is not the right role.

What This Role Actually Is

This role sits at the center of operations. When you do your job well:

You will:

  • Handle case transport with professionalism and care
  • Communicate real-time updates to the team
  • Take full ownership of company vehicles (maintenance, cleanliness, issues)
  • Represent EPIARX in the field

You are not just driving-you are executing a critical part of the operation

What You'll Be Measured On

  • On-time performance - transports completed as scheduled
  • Safety - zero preventable driving or handling incidents
  • Vehicle ownership - clean, maintained, and issues handled proactively
  • Communication - clear, timely updates (Slack + direct coordination)
  • Professionalism in the field - consistent, respectful interactions

What Success Looks Like

  • You complete all assigned transports without issues

By 60 Days

  • You proactively manage vehicle condition and maintenance
  • Operations run smoothly without needing follow-up from others

By 90 Days

  • You operate independently with full trust
  • You treat the vehicle like it's your own
  • You prevent problems before they happen through communication and awareness

This Role Is NOT For You If:

  • You are not consistently punctual
  • You avoid communication or only respond when asked
  • You are careless with vehicles or equipment
  • You prefer low-responsibility or loosely structured work
  • You are uncomfortable working in sensitive environments

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience in professional driving (required)
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of a vehicle, including maintenance, cleanliness, and proactive identification and escalation of issues
  • Comfortable driving mid- to long-distance routes
  • Experience using navigation tools (Waze, GPS, etc.)
  • Ability to use Slack or similar communication tools
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred:

  • Experience in medical transport, funeral services, or similar environments
  • Customer-facing or field-based experience
  • Basic mechanical awareness (identifying and escalating vehicle issues)

The Ideal Candidate

You are:

  • Reliable - you show up early and follow through
  • Responsible - you take ownership of your work and equipment
  • Safety-focused - you drive carefully and think ahead
  • Communicative - you update proactively and clearly

You understand that consistency and accountability matter more than speed
