What You'll Do:
  • Operate forklift in compliance with forklift training and safety guidelines.
  • Load/unload/store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing damage.
  • Store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk)
  • Prepare the paperwork required for distribution and shipping of products.
  • Performs daily inspection and maintenance of equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in working and assigned area.
  • Assists in periodic inventory counts as requested.
What We're Looking For:
  • One year or recent forklift/warehouse experience
  • Ability to proficiently and safely use forklift to transport products, load/unload trucks
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Ability to work independently at times under pressure
  • Ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to read/comprehend sales orders, purchase orders, safety material, etc.
  • Safe work record and stable work history
