Locum Tenens Opportunity: General Radiologist Near Gurnee, IL

We are seeking a General Radiologist with Fluoroscopy experience for a locum tenens opportunity near Gurnee, IL. This position offers a great work-life balance with daytime shifts and no emergency or weekend duties. Position Overview:
  • Position Type: Locum Tenens
  • Specialty: General Radiology with Fluoroscopy experience
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: Ongoing
  • Shift Type: Day shifts, Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Responsibilities:
  • Fluoroscopy Procedures:
    • Perform real-time imaging to assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • General Radiology:
    • Conduct and interpret routine and emergency imaging exams, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
    • Provide accurate and timely readings of imaging studies for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Systems Used:
    • EMR: Meditech
    • PACS: Intelerad
    • Voice Recognition Software: Fluency
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified: Required in Radiology.
  • BLS/ACLS Certified: Required.
  • Licensure: Must have an active, unrestricted Illinois medical license and DEA. Verbal confirmation of license and DEA status is required at the time of name clearance.
  • Clean Professional Record: No history of disciplinary actions or malpractice claims.
  • Fluoroscopy Experience: Must be comfortable and experienced in performing Fluoroscopy procedures.
Additional Requirements:
  • System Proficiency: Familiarity with Meditech EMR, Intelerad PACS, and Fluency for voice recognition is preferred.
  • Shift Details: On-site coverage required from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • No On-Call: Enjoy a consistent schedule with no weekend or night shifts.
