CT- Radiology Technologist
Iowa City, IA
Pay From: $40 per hour
MUST:
Experienced Radiology Technologist
1 plus years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
Must be ARRT Certified
Must have Iowa Radiology Technologist licensure
Must be comfortable assisting throughout clinic with other hands-on clinical duties
Must have experience working with EMR
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
DUTIES:
Radiology Technologist will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Prepare patients for radiology procedures
Operate DR radiology equipment to make clinical diagnostic x-ray images as directed by physicians
Use image-Gently equipped X-Ray, which reduces the amount of radiation used on children
Review specific procedure orders to determine materials/supplies that will be needed
Set up and stocks procedure rooms and trays with needed
Document patient concerns, patient messages, and care provided to the patient in the patient's medical record for the physician's review
Assist with inventory, ordering of supplies and re-stocking of supplies
