Job Description:

  • This position will particularly focus on improving batch reporting and processing ensuring that all requirements are thoroughly worked through and documented correcting issues created by moving to cloud-based environments and further implementing updated interfaces for the public.
  • This role supports the Software Quality Assurance / UAT and DWS IT teams by performing a variety of tasks to ensure software products meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Testing and Validation: Manual and automated software testing. This includes executing test cases, identifying bugs, and logging defects with clear and concise details.
  • Organization and Planning: Organize testing schedules, track project activities, and ensure that testing artifacts, such as test plans and test results, are well-documented and maintained.
  • Deployment Support: Deployment of software by helping with pre- and post-deployment checks and collaborating with development and operations teams to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Communication: Communicates testing status, issues, and results to team members and other stakeholders.
  • Output Comparison: Conducts comparisons of software outputs against expected results or against previous versions to identify and report discrepancies.
