How much do no experience python jobs pay per hour?

As of Jun 12, 2026, the average hourly pay for no experience python in Seattle, WA is $66.71, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $55.00 and $75.77 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

Which pays more, C++ or Python?

For entry-level Python developers, salaries are generally comparable to those of C++ developers, but C++ roles often offer higher pay due to its use in performance-critical applications like gaming and embedded systems. Salary differences depend on industry, location, and experience, with specialized skills in either language increasing earning potential. Both languages are valuable in the job market, and choosing one should consider your career goals and the specific job requirements.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the No Experience Python position, and why are they important?

To thrive in an entry-level Python developer role with no prior experience, you need a foundational understanding of Python programming concepts, such as variables, control structures, and basic data structures, often gained through self-study or online courses. Familiarity with tools such as code editors (VS Code, PyCharm) and version control systems like Git is also beneficial, and entry-level certifications such as Python Institute’s PCEP can strengthen your application. Eagerness to learn, problem-solving ability, and effective communication are standout soft skills for collaborating with teammates and adapting quickly. These skills and qualities help new developers contribute meaningfully to projects while building expertise and confidence in professional software development.

Are Python still in demand in 2026?

Python remains a highly in-demand skill for many roles, including entry-level positions, due to its versatility in data analysis, web development, automation, and machine learning. Its widespread use across industries ensures continued demand for Python developers, especially those with knowledge of frameworks like Django or libraries such as Pandas and TensorFlow.

What types of projects or tasks can I expect as someone starting out in a Python role with no prior experience?

If you're new to Python and joining a team in an entry-level position, you'll typically start by supporting tasks like writing basic scripts, debugging existing code, automating repetitive processes, or assisting with simple data analysis. You may collaborate closely with more experienced developers, participate in code reviews, and gradually take on more complex assignments as you build your skills. Many teams offer mentorship or structured onboarding to help you get up to speed with their codebase and best practices. Entry-level Python roles often provide a supportive environment designed to help you grow and advance your technical abilities over time.

Will AI replace Python coders?

AI is unlikely to fully replace Python coders, as programming involves problem-solving, creativity, and understanding complex systems that AI cannot fully replicate. Instead, AI tools can assist Python developers by automating repetitive tasks and enhancing productivity, making coding more efficient. Continuous learning and adapting to new technologies remain important for Python professionals in an evolving tech environment.

Is 2 hours a day enough to learn Python?

For a No Experience Python role, dedicating 2 hours daily can be sufficient to build foundational skills over several months, especially if focused on consistent practice and learning core concepts like syntax, data structures, and basic algorithms. Progress depends on the individual's learning pace and the quality of resources used, and supplementing with projects or tutorials can enhance understanding.

Job description

Ask any employee to explain their benefits, and you'll likely get a confused shrug. Ask any HR leader if their benefits investment is working, and you'll get an honest "I don't know." For employees, benefits are confusing and overwhelming. For HR and finance leaders, benefits are the second-largest expense, but they lack the visibility to know what's working and what's wasted.
At Avante, we're changing that. We're the first AI-native benefits platform built to turn benefits complexity into clarity. For employees, Avante acts like a personal guide, making benefits simple to understand and use. For leaders, Avante unifies fragmented data and delivers real-time insights so they can improve programs, control costs, and prove ROI.
We're based in Seattle and work 4 days a week in the office (one day remote), we're growing quickly, and are looking for a data engineer who can build and maintain the pipelines and infrastructure that power our AI systems and internal analysis. You'll work across the full data lifecycle - from ingestion and transformation to model deployment and monitoring - while using modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate your work. This is a hands-on role for someone who cares about building reliable, well-documented systems and wants to work at the intersection of data engineering, and applied AI.
What You Will Do
  • Own and design DBT models in Snowflake with proper testing and documentation
  • Build and architect Python data pipelines that are reliable, testable, and observable
  • Orchestrate workflows using Argo-Workflows running on Kubernetes
  • Transform raw source data into clean, well-modeled datasets for analysts and AI systems
  • Manage and improve scalable Azure cloud data infrastructure
  • Work on RAG pipelines and vector stores for unstructured data sources
  • Stay current with developments in applied AI and bring relevant innovations to the team
  • Use tools like Claude Code and Cursor as part of your daily workflow
  • Help establish team practices for effective human-AI collaboration in engineering
  • Contribute to adjacent full stack and platform engineering projects

What We Are Looking For
  • 5+ years experience building scalable data pipelines and warehouses
  • Extensive experience with SQL based transforms in DBT or similar technologies
  • Experience operating as a technical lead on a data team
  • A passion for data quality and careful testing and validation
  • Fluency in python with an emphasis on readable, maintainable code
  • Familiarity with Terraform and K8s container orchestration
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including internal and external stakeholders
  • Flexibility and willingness to wear many hats and help out wherever it is needed

Nice to Have
  • Early stage startup experience
  • Analysis or analytics engineering experience
  • Full stack development experience
  • Hands-on MLOps experience (model training pipelines, deployment, monitoring)
  • Experience with AI prompt engineering and LLM application development
  • Experience managing cloud infra such as Kubernetes clusters
  • Familiarity with clinical and medical insurance claims data

Our Tech Stack
  • DBT for transformation workflows and data modeling
  • Snowflake for data warehousing
  • Python for data loading, tokenization, and manipulation (Pandas, Polars) and integration with our AI platform
  • Data orchestration using Argo-Workflow DAGs
  • Azure cloud infrastructure with Kubernetes

Our Company Values:
  • Beat Yesterday - Continuous improvement, innovation, and growth
  • Embrace Type 2 Fun - Resilience and positivity in the face of challenges
  • Act Like an Owner - Initiative, accountability, and focus on outcomes
  • Stay Hungry, Stay Curious - Humility, curiosity, and bold thinking

$170,000 - $210,000 a year
Benefits include: stock options, medical/dental/vision, and 401k
Interview Process:
1. Initial screen with our recruiters
2. Phone screen with the hiring manager
3. On-Site Interview Loop
1. Technical interview focused on real-world problem solving (no whiteboard algorithms!)
2. Behavioral interview to explore your approach to teamwork and challenges
3. 1:1 with our PM
4. Final loop with our Head of Engineering
4. Final conversation with our CEO
If you're excited about solving complex data challenges in the benefits space while making a meaningful impact on businesses and their employees, we'd love to hear from you!
