• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to develop lighting effects, scenes, sequences, and control strategies that meet project requirements.
• Lead or assist with system setup, testing, troubleshooting, programming updates, and commissioning documentation.
• Travel to project sites for commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing system support as required.
• Maintain accurate records of system configurations, addressing, patching, programming, and commissioning activities.
• Provide technical support and communicate clearly with internal teams, field personnel, customers, and other project stakeholders.
• Follow company safety procedures and site-specific requirements while working in stadium, construction, and field environments.
Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with MADRIX software and DMX-based lighting control systems required.

• Ability to independently troubleshoot lighting-control hardware, software, network, addressing, and communication issues in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to interpret system schematics, data sheets, lighting plans, and related technical documentation.
• Strong computer skills, including comfort with IP configuration, subnetting, and network-connected control systems.
• Broad working knowledge of professional lighting systems, fixtures, controllers, and related components.
• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional project teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Pharos control systems, including LPC, TPS, and Designer software.
• Experience with wireless CRMX systems, including LumenRadio or similar technology.
• Background in low-voltage or high-voltage wiring, AV/lighting system installation, architectural lighting, theatrical lighting, or live-event production.
• Two or more years of experience supporting architectural, theatrical, sports, or stadium lighting projects.
Work Environment and Travel
This position is based in St. Gabriel, LA and requires significant regional and multi-state travel, estimated at approximately 60-70%. Work may be performed at active construction sites, stadiums, athletic facilities, and other project locations. The role may require schedule flexibility based on project commissioning, testing, and customer-support needs.
Why Join GeoSport Lighting Systems

• Hands-on role with exposure to advanced lighting controls, commissioning, engineering, and field operations.
• Collaborative, team-oriented environment with opportunities to build expertise across complex lighting technologies and systems.
• Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, holidays, and 401(k).
