Essential Functions

1. Observance of all safety rules and policies maintained by the company.

3. Must be able to physically and mentally maintain daily production goals and deadlines as established by management

5. Maintenance of raw material inventory (parts, supplies, etc.)
6. Movement of completed parts into and through production/shipping if needed
7. Preparation, and maintenance, and of all fork trucks and tools
8. Assistance in loading and preparing product for build.
9. Loading and unloading of trucks if needed (foam, fiber, pillow, other parts)
10. Rotation of position within team structure as necessary;
11. Assistance in repair work as necessary;
12. Maintenance of good housekeeping practices at all times;
13. Safe operation of fork truck/picker

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Travel

Travel would be minimal and would be primarily local during the business day.

1. High School diploma or equivalent preferred
2. Must be able to physically and mentally maintain daily production goals and deadlines as established by management

Preferred Education and Experience

1. Manufacturing/industry experience.
