Role: Software Engineer Advanced (.NET Developer) 602 level Location: Chicago, IL 5 days onsite Job Reference: 308255-1
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Required Visa: & GC

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Engineer will work closely on agile feature teams projects related to .NET, MS SQL Server, C#, and Java to analyze and develop solutions for modernization of SQL Jobs, stored procedures, and application code to more modern design and tool sets, including cloud-based architectures.
  • Collaborate on migration and modernization initiatives, leveraging AWS Cloud services (such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch) to rehost, replatform, or refactor legacy applications and databases.
  • Analyze existing code and data (across .NET, Java, and SQL Server) to identify opportunities for process improvement, performance optimization, and modernization.
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions using .NET, Java and AWS, ensuring best practices in cloud security, automation, and monitoring.
  • Participate in the development and deployment of containerized applications (using Kubernetes and AWS ECS/EKS) and infrastructure as code (using AWS Cloud Formation or Terraform).
  • Contribute to agile feature teams by providing expertise in both on-premises and cloud-based application development, supporting end-to-end migration and modernization efforts.
