Library Materials Management

Work involves responsibility for shelving and retrieving materials and maintaining the correct order and neatness of library collections, preparing materials for shipment through the delivery system and maintaining shipment logs. No supervision is exercised over other employees.

Essential Functions
  • Re-Shelving and self-reading all library materials.
  • Maintaining the correct order and neatness of the collections.
  • Preparing materials for shipment through the delivery systems and maintain shipment.
  • Assisting in processing periodicals.
  • Assisting patrons with micro form machine and other similar equipment.
  • Performing other similar duties as requested.
Education and Experience
  • Current high school student, or graduation from a standard high school.
