Job Summary:
Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. They are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate to fill an open position as a Data Scientist, responsible for working cross functionally to assist in data collection plans, analyze and model data, and create actionable plans to optimize revenue streams.
Responsibilities:
• Work with diverse data from a wide range of projects across the business unit.
• Perform data cleaning and manipulation to prepare datasets for analysis using techniques such as standardization and decomposition.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify correlations, data integrity issues, and missing data.
• Analyze large datasets to generate insights and identify patterns, working under guidance from senior data scientists.
• Communicate data findings and suggest potential improvements to analyses and approaches.
• Automate ETL (extract, transform, load) processes and monitor their performance.
• Collaborate with scientists to understand data requirements and provide analysis support.
• Develop basic statistical visualizations to highlight multi-dimensional correlations within data.
• Seek feedback from senior team members and business groups for improving data analysis processes.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights, anomalies, and correlations from complex datasets.
• Automate and enhance existing data analysis pipelines and ensure quality control throughout the process.
