Job description

This position provides nursing care, coordinates assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation of quality patient care that is consistent with the philosophy, objectives, policies, standards and bylaws of the hospital in all modalities of the Radiology Department.
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision for Radiology staff, including mentoring, performance management, staff development, and participation in hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate and oversee quality patient care before, during, and after radiology and interventional procedures, including patient assessment, documentation, education, and advocacy.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and department leadership to maintain high standards of care, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and departmental operations.
  • Assist with diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures, medication administration, emergency response, radiation safety, and patient transport as needed.
  • Support departmental goals through participation in policy development, budgeting, committee involvement, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Hours/Shifts
64 hours biweekly, day shifts, Monday to Friday.
Compensation
Hourly Wage Range: $41.31-$61.68. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

  1. Education/Special Skills: To perform in this position requires the incumbent to be a graduate of a school of nursing with current licensure in Minnesota. Minimum of six months experience working as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. ACLS certification required. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to promote/maintain teamwork internally and externally. This position requires current Healthcare Provider level CPR certification upon hire or must be obtained within 6 months.
  2. Responds to work shift and on-call rotation and experiences frequent interruptions.
  3. Must be able to attend the work site per schedule.
