First Day Homecare® is a leading homecare provider with locations across the U.S., specializing in pediatric Private Duty Nursing, infusion therapy, and other home and community-based services. We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate 1-2 Infusion Registered Nurses in the Salt Lake and Utah County markets to support our growing infusion program. Reports To: Clinical Supervisor
Provides Supervision To: NA - No supervision responsibilities
Responsibilities
  1. Assume accountability for professional nursing practice, following the state Nurse Practice Act and home health standards.
  2. Conduct physical assessments, including client admissions and reassessments, as directed by the Clinical Supervisor.
  3. Report changes in the client condition to the medical practitioner and care team promptly.
  4. Contribute to the development and adjustment of client care plans.
  5. Demonstrate technical nursing competency, especially in administering infusions, injectables, and IV access.
  6. Practice nursing with respect for individual, cultural, and spiritual differences, adhering to Agency policies.
  7. Promote safety, infection control, and continuous quality improvement in client care.
  8. Maintain confidentiality and engage in ongoing professional development.

About You:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) of practice.
  • Proficient in various infusion and injectable medications, including peripheral intravenous (IV) starts, IVIG's, SCIG's and accessing infusion ports.
  • Willingness to travel to patients' homes within the Sale Lake, Utah & Davis counties
  • Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current CPR certification and TB test results
  • Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and/or Agency requirements..
