Nursing Positions
The Healix clinical nursing staff collaborates with patients, pharmacists, and physicians to deliver optimal infusion therapy care in a private practice setting. Through training, technology, and continuing education, we provide the means to excel in your career and enhance the care you provide.
Working with Healix gives you the opportunity to work in an autonomous and interdisciplinary team work environment within a physician office setting. Our nurses work full-time in an office infusion center and travel nurses who travel to infusion centers nationwide within their designated region on a full-time or part-time basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Travels to various Office Infusion Centers (OIC) for staffing and follow up training
  • Performs as preceptor to nurses
  • Comprehensive nursing assessment
  • PIV and Central line care and access
  • Patient teaching and/or instructions of medication and disease process
  • Medication preparation and administration
  • Patient safety, monitoring, and follow-up
  • Coordination of care with other disciplines
  • Referral management

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Current valid license as a registered nurse in the state of practice
  • Must possess valid basic life support (BLS) certification
  • CRNI, VA-BC, OCN preferred

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in nursing (ADN)
  • 2+ years experience working as a registered nurse in a clinical setting preferred
  • Critical Care, Outpatient/Homecare Infusion Experience preferred
  • Recent intravenous administration and catheter management experience
  • Excellent assessment skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
