San Antonio, TX | PRN / Contract | 3 Days per Month
Hourly Pay: $40.00 to $45.00 (Based on Experience)

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Home Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to provide IVIG (Intravenous Immunoglobulin) infusions for a patient located near Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78229.
This recurring PRN role requires 3 infusion days per month and offers a consistent, flexible schedule ideal for experienced infusion nurses seeking supplemental income or lighter clinical hours.
You will deliver specialized infusion care in a calm, one-on-one environment ensuring safety, comfort, and continuity of treatment each month.
Responsibilities
  • Administer IVIG and other specialty infusions per provider orders.
  • Assess patient response and monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Manage IV access, including peripheral lines, PICCs, and ports.
  • Provide patient and caregiver education regarding infusion therapy and post-care.
  • Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Communicate effectively with care coordination and pharmacy teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Active RN license in Texas (or Compact State)
  • Minimum 1 year of IV infusion or acute care experience
  • Strong IV initiation and vascular access skills
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
  • Reliable vehicle, valid drivers license, and auto insurance
Preferred:
  • Prior experience with IVIG or home infusion therapy
  • CRNI® certification or similar infusion specialty credential
Compensation & Schedule
  • Hourly Rate: $40 to $45 per hour (based on experience)
  • Mileage Reimbursement: For all patient travel
  • Schedule: 3 infusion days per month, recurring assignment
  • Flexible Visit Hours: Coordinated in advance with patient needs
  • Direct Deposit / Prompt Pay: following each completed visit cycle
