Job Description
Job Title: Oncology Infusion RN

Certifications: BLS, Chemotherapy Certification (ONS/ONCC)
Must-Have:
- Experience with oncology diagnoses
- Familiarity with infusion therapies
Description:
Position is for an Oncology Infusion RN in an outpatient clinic setting.
Shifts will be 5 days a week from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
Patient ratios are 1 nurse to 7 patients.
No weekend work requirements.
First-time travelers are not accepted for this position.
The position does not require on-call duty.
Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs.
Block schedules are open to accommodation.
Candidates can be accepted with pending licenses.
Time off requests should ideally not exceed 5 days.
Client may cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty or obligation.
On-call hours do not count towards guaranteed minimum hours.
Special requirements include handling various oncology diagnoses, gastrointestinal and genitourinary infusion needs, and medication protocols.
The clinic uses Epic for charting.
All staff members have access to interdisciplinary support services including social services and pharmacy.
Responsibilities involve patient education, administration of chemotherapy, blood products, and managing various side effects.
Environment focuses on outpatient care for adult patients with cancer diagnoses.
Candidates must have charting experience with Epic.
Reference verification is required.
Candidates must complete pre-start modules prior to beginning.
