SUMMARY OF JOB:

To provide custom solutions to customers for their home and business needs with a focus on HVAC addition, replacement, ductwork, maintenance and air quality needs.

ESSENTIALS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Call on home and business owners based on pre-set appointments to assess their HVAC service needs and prepare proposals with three options in a good/ better / best format
  • Track, set and achieve sales goals and closing percentages
  • Prepare accurate material lists for the installation group
  • Arrange necessary logistics, manage project schedule and provide scope of work for field workers
  • Handle customer payments and provide the customer with copies of the transaction
  • Coordinate financing of customer payments as needed
  • Follow up to close sales that were not closed in the home or business
  • Communicate with distributors to obtain price quotes for materials
  • Conduct on-site visits to meet with installers during installations: assure quality standards are being met and assess the level of customer satisfaction
  • Address and resolve customer questions, issues or complaints
  • Attend sales meetings and pursue training and development opportunities to enhance sales skills as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years of successfully selling HVAC replacement systems/accessories, PM maintenance agreement / contracts and/or closing sales in another trade preferred but not required
  • Experience utilizing a 'one call sales method'
  • Experience with and understanding of all home services standards and practices, as well as code requirements
  • A working familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products including excel, word, and power-point and ability to be trained in use of the Company specific applications and software
