Job summary:

Help Desk Associate provides network support, training, and troubleshooting in a network environment. Provides support on a wide range of applications.

This position is for the South Fallsburg location, for Mid June- End of August

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Provides technical assistance and support for issues related to computer systems, software and hardware.
  2. Direct unresolved issues to next level of support personnel.
  3. Work with windows domain environment to assign permission and perform password resets.
  4. Use internal ticketing system to accurately documents time and resolutions.
  5. Work with screen sharing software to work with users remotely.
  6. Troubleshoot basic LAN, WAN, WiFi and other network related issues.
  7. Troubleshoot and maintenance of printers, move hardware around as needed.
  8. Work with user’s eClinicalWorks (EMR) related issues.
  9. Maintain and troubleshoot S2 ID card system.
  10. Maintain and troubleshoot Shoretel Phone system.
  11. Utilize Camera system Exacq to perform investigations as required.
  12. Work with users and cell phone related issues for corporate devices.
  13. Ability to write out documentation for trainings and tutorials.
  14. Determines the most effective manner to resolve user’s technical issues and walk users through problem solving steps.

  1. At least 2 years’ experience as Help Desk related field.

  2. Experience with Windows OS (7, 8, 8.1, 10) MS Office 2013, 2016

  3. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively priority workload.

  4. Passion for providing excellent customer service and flexible in work hours to meet business needs. Includes ability to work remotely on select days.

  5. Good verbal and written communications is a must. This includes professional phone and email etiquette.

  6. Problem analysis/problem-solving skills required.

  7. Detail oriented.

  8. Must have integrity and secure mindset as the role has access to confidential data.

  9. Must be able to learn and support new and quickly-changing technologies.
