ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Returns Clerk will support the Department by completing required documents, including but not limited to all RTV’s (Return-To-Vendor), using the company data base.
HOURLY PAY: $21.19/hour
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday / 5am - 1:30pm

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Processing Functions

  • Log incoming Returns according to procedure.
  • Safely remove and open palletized cartons.
  • Accurately inspect and grade returned shoes to ensure that Customers receive their due credit and resale value of shoes are maximized.
  • Clean shoes using cleaning products.
  • Prepare shoes for return to stock (RTS) by ensuring shoeboxes are in good condition, tissue paper is in place and presentable, and no customer specific ticketing remains anywhere on the shoebox or within.  Any remnant tickets, labels, or glue is to be removed with a heat gun.
  • Correctly complete required returns documents and attach customer paperwork.
  • Mark shoeboxes and/or RTS cases as required in order to identify who processed the return.
  • Follow all other processing procedures in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Follow special procedures, such as RTV allowance customers, Non-SKX returns, Consumer returns, etc.
  • Pack assorted damage cases and palletize according to jobber specifications.
  • Assemble shoeboxes and cases.
  • Sort pairs and cases.
  • Validate accuracy of processors’ work.
  • Scan Receivers according to procedure.
  • Print UPC labels according to procedure.
  • Handle Cancelled orders: Prepare for RTS.  Perform appropriate system transactions via RF.
  • Copy and file Returns paperwork.

Product Handling Functions

  • Verify counts and note incoming and outgoing bills of lading and other paperwork for accuracy.  Follow procedures for handling receiving/shipping paperwork.
  • Assist EO’s in tracking pallets of all types pertaining to Returns functions.
  • Palletize, stage, and locate cases, totes, and pallets following applicable system procedures for transacting inventory.
  • Quickly and accurately input returns documents according to procedure.
  • Verify accuracy of input returns documents.
  • Perform any other clerical duties related the Returns process, for example, gathering documents for transfer to Corporate according to procedure.
  • Gather information and input data into computer for department reporting, including all special logs, lists, and databases.
  • Help maintain a clean work environment.
  • Follow all safety rules.
  • Report observations of employees violating safety or other procedures.
  • Perform other Returns duties appropriate for position requirements as necessary.
  • Perform other general warehouse duties appropriate for position requirements as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2- 2 1/2 year(s) experience in warehousing, Processing, Clerical environment
  • Prior experience working on a Warehouse Management System preferred.
  • Basic PC/Windows knowledge required.
  • Typing//input speed equivalent of 25 words per minute.
