What You'll Do
  • Safely transport and deliver products to customers and designated locations.
  • Load, unload, secure, and properly arrange cargo for safe transportation.
  • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes.
  • Communicate with customers, the office, and the warehouse team regarding delivery and pickup status and estimated arrival times.
  • Verify item numbers and quantities against invoices to ensure accurate deliveries.
  • Maintain and properly handle invoices, purchase orders, bills of lading, and other transportation documentation.
  • Communicate order discrepancies, returns, or delivery concerns to the appropriate team members.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance checks on assigned vehicles and equipment.
  • Report vehicle defects or needed repairs promptly.
  • Maintain assigned equipment in a clean and safe condition.
  • Follow all company safety, security, transportation, and operational procedures.
  • Assist with other operational duties, including loading, hauling, and dispatching, as needed.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
While performing this position, the employee is regularly required to communicate, sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
