Where You Will Work Our Miami smelter and rod plant is nestled just 90 miles east of Phoenix. The smelter processes copper concentrate primarily from our company's Arizona copper mines and is the most significant source of sulfuric acid for our North American leaching operations.Arizona's Globe-Miamihistoric mining district offers natural beauty and a rich mining heritage. What You Will Do Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and assist in the identification and implementation of corrective actions or technologies

Consider cost impact for recommended action plans for correcting downtime issues on installed equipment. Ensure continuous production is uninterrupted by equipment failures. Reports on Key Performance Indices.

Analyze current CMMS data for equipment health indicators and prepare reports. Perform onsite evaluation of existing processes and equipment and make recommendations for improvement. Perform other duties as required.

What You Bring To Freeport Bachelor's degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline with no experience required. Working knowledge of MSOffice suite including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project Knowledge and understanding of good engineering practices and principles. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Self-starter with solid integrity. Understand the importance of safety, legality and quality. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering Completion of Reliability Engineering courses SMRP or CMRP Certification Six Sigma experience or Certification Experience with asset management systems (e.g., SAP PM) Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, thermography, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills What We Offer You The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently$75,000-$104,000.This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions

Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
