Job Description
Important Immigration information:

The Graduate Assistant will assist with the teaching of undergraduate courses for the Computer Science Department.
The salary is determined in accordance with the University's compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates' education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with teaching undergraduate courses and help students with increase learning and hands-on activities.
  • Other duties as requested for the courses by supervisor/Department head

Required Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field.
  • Presently enrolled at Prairie View A&M University for at least nine (9) graduate semester credit hours during the term in which the work is to be done.
  • Must be in good academic standing (SAP) as demonstrated through your college; minimum 2.0 GPA
  • For work eligibility during a summer term, a student must be enrolled for at least six (6) graduate or undergraduate semester credit hours during the term in which the work is to be done or preregistered at least six (6) undergraduate semester hours or nine (9) graduate semester hours for the upcoming fall term.
