Assembly Worker - 1st Shift, Full Time, Temporary
This is a vacant position at a Tier 1 Supplier to the Automotive and Military Industries. Our exceptional engineering team provides solutions for customers on their most challenging programs. These programs are typically complex which requires unique solutions to launch quickly. We are the "go to" solutions provider for Ford Motor Company and Laser Access, specializing in CNC Machining and Assembly of custom engineered components. As a small company that is very team oriented, we believe that growth and opportunities are most important in the workplace. We are looking for applicants that want to grow with the company and see what is possible to achieve year after year.
Description - Assembly personnel will be in charge of running assembly equipment and qualifying good parts. They will have the knowledge and ability to distinguish good from bad parts. As well as the ability to read and comprehend work instructions. Assembly personnel must be able to maintain a clean work environment and maintain 5S standards. Experienced Assembly Personnel will be able to achieve rates or above and suggest changes to optimize workflow.
Expectations
  • Operate assembly equipment according to work instructions.
  • Correctly deburr and wash parts.
  • Build parts to Ford specifications.
  • Clock in and out of jobs and log time correctly.
  • Ability to qualify good and bad parts and sort accordingly.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to work in a shop setting
  • Good math and analytical skills
  • Good written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills

Additional Requirements
Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). Therefore, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident ('Green Card')
