Responsibilities

The Business Insights Analytics (BIA) area within State Farm Enterprise Technology Department is seeking a candidate to research, measure and analyze customer claim digital experiences across Web and native app platforms. Selected candidate will have proven skills combining complex data sets from click stream data and operational data in AWS for analysis and reporting purposes. Findings will be shared through verbal and written reports communicating insights specific to trends, anomalies, and opportunities with a customer-centric and data-driven approach. Candidate selected will be a member of the BIA-Claims Digital Customer Experience team and partner with Enterprise Technology product teams and Claims business partners.

  • Build and interpret data sets to generate customer-centric insights and measurable, actionable outcomes for stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new technical and business concepts.
  • Possess strong curiosity and a passion for understanding products, processes and problems thoroughly, constantly asking "Why?" and wanting to know more to develop a greater understanding of the topics being explored.
  • Communicate complex messages and results effectively through compelling visual storytelling and verbal presentations.
  • Support end-to-end measurement and continuous improvement of customer digital experiences across web and mobile.
  • Maintain high integrity, autonomy, self-motivation, and strong work ethic—managing multiple complex efforts with strong time/project/organizational skills and learning agility.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • 3 plus years with retrieving and analyzing data from multiple data sources using SQL or Python.
  • BI Visualization tool experience with AWS Quick/Quicksight or Power BI
  • Click Stream Data experience with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
  • Demonstrates broad business acumen in insurance, including knowledge of claim handling and digital self-service capabilities.
  • Note: This job includes some reporting responsibilities, but primarily it is a business intelligence job.
