Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Epicor Kinetic Programmer to lead the design, development, and deployment of ERP solutions that enhance business performance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Epicor Kinetic, including Application Studio, REST API, and will also bring experience with Epicor Automation Studio.

This role is ideal for a developer who thrives in full-cycle software development and is passionate about mentoring others. You will play a key role in modernizing our ERP environment and supporting the transition from legacy Epicor systems to Kinetic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design and implementation of Kinetic solutions.
  • Mentor existing Epicor developers.
  • Speed the transition from legacy Epicor to Kinetic.
  • Develop and deploy Epicor Kinetic customizations, BPMs, BAQs, dashboards, and REST API integrations.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Epicor modules while introducing modern Kinetic capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex ERP issues with minimal business disruption.
  • Mentor existing Epicor developers to accelerate the transition to Kinetic.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
  • Support change and release management processes and contribute to SDLC maturity.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Epicor ERP development experience, including 2+ years in Epicor Kinetic.
  • Hands-on experience with Application Studio, REST API, and low-code/no-code tools.
  • Proficiency in Epicor customization tools (BPMs, BAQs, UD tables, dashboards).
  • Strong understanding of Epicor’s data model and business logic.
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, and Microsoft T-SQL.
  • Experience with web-based development (ASP.NET, MVC) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
