How much do no code automation jobs pay per year?

As of Jul 6, 2026, the average yearly pay for no code automation in the United States is $107,126.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $86,500.00 and $123,500.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What are some common challenges faced when implementing no code automation solutions within existing business processes?

A frequent challenge is ensuring that no code automation tools integrate smoothly with legacy systems and existing workflows, which may require careful planning and stakeholder collaboration. Additionally, managing data security and compliance can be complex, as automations often handle sensitive information across platforms. Another common hurdle is balancing rapid development with maintaining scalable, maintainable processes, especially as more team members begin to use and build automations. Successful no code automation professionals work closely with IT and end-users to address these challenges and ensure robust, business-aligned solutions.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a No Code Automation Specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a No Code Automation Specialist, you need a solid understanding of workflow design, process mapping, and business analysis, often supported by experience in digital transformation or automation projects. Proficiency with no-code and low-code platforms such as Zapier, Airtable, or Microsoft Power Automate, as well as relevant certifications, is highly beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication help you collaborate with stakeholders and translate business needs into automated solutions. These skills ensure the successful implementation of efficient, scalable automations that drive productivity and innovation within organizations.

What is the difference between No Code Automation vs Data Analyst?

AspectNo Code AutomationData Analyst
Required CredentialsOften no formal degree required; certifications in automation toolsBachelor's degree in data science, statistics, or related fields
Work EnvironmentTech teams, business units, often remote or hybridData teams, business departments, office or remote
Industry UsageUsed across various industries for process automationPrimarily in finance, marketing, healthcare, and tech
Search & Comparison IntentUnderstanding automation tools vs data analysis roles

While No Code Automation focuses on streamlining processes using visual tools without coding, Data Analysts interpret data to inform business decisions. Both roles are vital in digital transformation but serve different functions within organizations.

What is no code automation?

No code automation refers to the use of platforms and tools that allow users to create automated workflows and processes without writing any traditional computer code. These tools typically provide drag-and-drop interfaces and pre-built integrations, making it easy for people without programming experience to automate repetitive tasks and connect various apps or services. No code automation is popular in businesses for improving efficiency, reducing manual work, and empowering non-technical employees to build solutions quickly.

Job description

About VIZOR

VIZOR is an advanced materials and coating technology company based in NYC and New Jersey. We develop high-performance active ingredients and specialty raw materials used in personal care and consumer products.

We are currently building a next-generation, AI-powered fulfillment and manufacturing infrastructure designed specifically for modern direct-to-consumer operations. Our goal is to create one of the most minimal, intelligent, and operationally efficient autonomous fulfillment systems in the cosmetics industry.

This is not a theoretical R&D role.

You will work directly on real-world automation systems involving:

  • robotics
  • AI workflows
  • warehouse automation
  • computer vision
  • packaging systems
  • process engineering
  • operational software systems

This is a highly hands-on, in-person role for someone excited about building practical automation systems from the ground up.

What You'll Work On
  • Assist in designing and prototyping compact robotic fulfillment and warehouse automation systems
  • Help develop workflows connecting inventory management, shipping systems, barcode scanning, and robotic hardware
  • Work on robotic picking, lightweight computer vision, automated packaging, and labeling systems
  • Train, refine, and deploy object detection models for product identification, robotic picking accuracy, packaging verification, and operational monitoring
  • Support development of internal operational dashboards and automation tools
  • Research practical automation technologies including robotic arms, sensors, machine vision systems, label applicators, and compact conveyor solutions
  • Help optimize warehouse layouts, packaging flows, and process efficiency
  • Collaborate on integrating AI agents and automation tools into operational workflows
  • Participate in testing, debugging, and refining automation systems in real-world environments
  • Assist with documenting SOPs, process maps, and technical systems
Ideal Background

We are less focused on traditional credentials and more interested in builders.

You may be a fit if you have experience or strong interest in:

  • robotics
  • AI tools and agents
  • computer vision
  • object detection systems
  • automation systems
  • Python scripting
  • Raspberry Pi / Arduino
  • manufacturing systems
  • warehouse operations
  • industrial engineering
  • startup building
  • systems thinking

Experience working with object detection frameworks such as:

  • YOLOv10 / YOLOv11 (Ultralytics)
  • Detectron2
  • RF-DETR
  • Grounding DINO

...is highly desirable.

Bonus points for experience with:

  • ROS (Robot Operating System)
  • OpenCV
  • automation APIs
  • warehouse management systems
  • CAD or spatial design tools
  • low-code/no-code automation platforms
  • LLM workflows and AI orchestration
  • edge AI deployment
  • custom model training and dataset labeling
What We're Looking For
  • Highly curious and self-driven mindset
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Builder mentality - you enjoy creating systems, not just discussing them
  • Ability to move quickly and learn independently
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous startup environments
  • Strong attention to detail and operational thinking
  • Interest in practical, minimalist engineering rather than overengineered solutions
Why This Role Is Unique

This internship sits at the intersection of:

  • AI
  • robotics
  • industrial design
  • operational engineering
  • and real-world automation

You will help architect systems that directly impact how physical products move through a business.

Rather than working on isolated academic projects, you'll help build automation infrastructure intended for real operational deployment.

COMPENSATION & PERKS
  • $20 per hour for 2-3 days per week, at our Brooklyn facility. Candidate can choose their own days around school schedule.
  • 8-week program, potentially longer depending on project requirement
  • Free office snacks and occasional free breakfasts & lunches
  • Excellent opportunity to get hands-on engineering and lab experience with a company that has customers in the Fortune 500
Employment Type: CONTRACTOR
