Position Summary:
Hiring Salary Range: $14.42 to $15.37
The Assistant Women's Basketball Coach supports the Head Coach in all aspects of operating a competitive NJCAA volleyball program. Responsibilities include assisting with practice planning and skill development, game preparation and scouting, recruiting and retaining student-athletes, monitoring academic progress, and promoting student-athlete success both on and off the court.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with organizing and conducting practices, workouts, and game-day activities.
  • Provide instruction in basketball fundamentals, techniques, and strategies.
  • Support recruiting efforts, including evaluating prospective student-athletes and maintaining recruiting communications.
  • Monitor student-athlete academic performance and encourage academic success.
  • Assist with team travel, equipment management, and program administration.
  • Promote compliance with NJCAA, conference, institutional, and departmental policies.
  • Represent the college and volleyball program in a professional manner and contribute to positive team culture.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • The position requires at least a High school Diploma or GED.
  • Two years of prior related experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree and two years of prior related experience.
