With just one phone call or email to our friendly staff will schedule you with the best licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist to meet your exact needs. Many of our therapists hold advanced training certifications in specialized therapy techniques (for instance autism, dementia, wound care, lymphedema and dry needling).

At your initial meeting with your NIT therapist, we will discuss therapy options, decide with you on your therapy goals and draw up a workable care plan to ensure you meet or exceed your expectations.

Join our multi-disciplinary team working with the amazing clients at Waverly's premier Adult Outpatient Clinic. Make a real difference in the lives of your patients by helping them reach their full potentials. Our gym is fully equipped in the latest therapy equipment/supplies, and ACP protocols, and our seasoned team of clinicians are always available to assist with mentoring, new grad programs and skills development.

NIT is looking for an experienced Physical Therapist eager to work in our ALF and SNF settings. Not looking for a full time role?  Ask us about Part time or PRN.

Job Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates and treats adult patients referred for physical therapy
  • Maintains accurate and complete patient records in RehabOptima and WebPT (EMR system)
  • Maintains a patient treatment schedule consistent with the needs of the clinic
  • Excels in the area of customer service; Monitors and trains this expectation to staff
  • Available on-site to coach and develop staff, answer questions, deploy new work initiatives as directed by upper management
  • Supports the clinic and clinical staff and occasionally assumes these responsibilities in their absence
  • Required Education, Certifications and Licenses:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy;
  • Previous experience in management and clinical experience in and ALF or SNF
  • Iowa PT license or be eligible for Iowa PT license (Iowa is a compact state)
  • Current CPR card

  • Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player and effective at building and fostering teamwork as well as maintain composure when dealing with conflict
