Job description

Nippon Sanso Matheson specializes in the manufacture and distribution of dry ice and liquid carbon dioxide. Nippon Sanso Matheson maintains a reliable network of 40 dry ice distribution facilities located strategically throughout its service area. This integrated distribution network ensures that Nippon Sanso Matheson can quickly react to customers' needs.
MANUFACTURING TEAM MEMBER - Albion, MI Nippon Sanso Matheson is looking for Team Members for our manufacturing plant in Albion, MI. Our Team Members are responsible for providing support to achieve optimal levels of safety, quality and productivity. This position is a 12 hour shift from either 7AM-7PM or 7PM-7AM working every other weekend and scheduled holidays. **NEW HIGHER WAGES** Starting Wage: $21.00/hour with a $2.00 Night Shift Differential.
Packing and wrapping ice to customer specifics
Shoveling and packaging dry ice during the manufacturing process - Labeling, strapping, and staging of dry ice for loading
Cleaning and sanitizing large industrial containers
Safe forklift operation
Will be required to move from one department to another or to be moved to and from positions/stations as directed by supervisor and leads.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Able to frequently/continually lift 30lbs while twisting, reaching and bending
Able to stand for a 12-hour shift in non-climate-controlled environment
Demonstrated ability to work on a team
Attention to detail with a focus on quality
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience required/ Preferred 1-3 years Desired Food safety experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to Speak UP and do what is right, and have the ability to watch out for others and help instead of watch others work. Ability to follow directions, to be at work on time, understand and follow safe work practices.
