Job description

This position is responsible for controlling, inspecting, and tracking inbound and outbound customer and vendor truck traffic along with coordinating the timely flow of trailers and paperwork needed in the process of receiving, storing and shipping products.

WHAT YOULL DO

  • Coordinate dock flow for all outbound loads
  • Track and verify paperwork and product on trailers
  • Investigate shortages of product in the picking process
  • Compare accuracy of supplier bills
  • Choose and stage loads to be received
  • Print, distribute and finalize shipping and receiving paperwork as needed
  • Inspect and record inbound vehicle data
  • Verify correct load and temperature setting
  • Use of Yard Management
  • Process company driver check-in paperwork
  • Verify correct load and temperature settings
  • Assist with Custom Haul Load and paperwork tracking
  • Follow prescribed Temp Integrity procedures
  • Notify Safety Department and Garage for accident

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Word and OutlooK
  • Proficient with VLOOKUP, pivot tables and sorting data

  • College Degree (Bachelors or Associates)
  • Experience with warehouse computer systems
  • Ability to accept changing work demands
