Job Overview

As a Sanitation Team Member, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility. Your focus will be on keeping warehouses and office areas clean and compliant, while ensuring proper chemical use and adherence to sanitation practices. Your work helps us maintain the highest standards for food safety and quality, ensuring our operations run smoothly and our customers remain safe.

What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include:

  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of the warehouse and offices
  • Ensure that all scheduled sanitation duties are completed correctly and on time following the master sanitation schedule.
  • Ensure all cleaning chemicals are used, labeled, and stored correctly in compliance with Safety Data Sheets.
  • Maintain the safety, quality, and legality of food products.

Things you need to be able to do:

  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Carry up to 50 lbs. Push/Pull up to 30 lbs. of force.
  • Must be able to be exposed to a refrigerated and freezer environment, ranging from 0 - 36 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Able to work in a cold environment for an extended period of time; steel-toe shoes are required.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions and meet deadlines and be able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Consistent, regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position. Employees must be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support business and operational needs.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to reach bend

Things that are a plus but not a deal-breaker:

  • Previous warehouse and/or cold storage experience
  • Previous food-grade warehouse sanitation/janitorial experience.
