Job description

Texas Health Physicians Group is seeking a dedicated Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospitalist team in southwest Plano, TX. This full-time, night shift position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced hospitalists in a fast-paced inpatient setting, providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Position Highlights

  • Night shift schedule: 7PM - 7AM, 7 days on - 7 days off

  • Collaborate with a well-established Hospitalist team

  • Perform inpatient evaluations, history and physicals, and follow-up care

  • Initiate appropriate diagnostic testing and treatment plans

  • Document all encounters using an EMR system

  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives

What You Bring

  • Strong clinical skills, active listening, critical thinking & sound clinical judgment

  • Current Texas license as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

  • Active ACLS certification

  • Minimum of 2 years of NP or RN experience in ICU or CVICU preferred
